I tried to do this for Halloween but my computer had other plans. As you can see I'm trying my hand at backgrounds. Do they help? Are they too distracting?
Your background work is excellent, and does nothing but add to the epic struggle you are trying to depict. And as you well know, I'm big into epics. And as you also know, I have nagged you about spending more time with each picture by putting more detail into that one in order to go for quality instead of quantity. You're heading in that direction. Congrats. Next you'll be putting a lot more detail into the boxing gloves - I hope, I hope. Drew.
This is anotehr nice series of pics. The background adds a lot to the scene, too--two women deciding to go for each other in a deserted gym or underground fight localle.
I'd suggest adding a bit to the background, actually. A couple of heavy bags and double ended bags hanging up, some speed bags on the wall, a bench or two, a few benches, and you've made it into a gym. Add some trophys on a shelf and it's a semi-successful gym.
No NEED for it, but it would add to the setting. Perhaps they're gym members, settling a dispute (or a simple challenge) after hours, with no coach or ref to call it off when someone's got the upper hand; these two want someone knocked out.

Just a few thoughts; nice job!
